Welcome to The Dividend Orchard!
I am Ashley Pierre and thrilled to have you. I am not a financial advisor, but sharing my experiences in personal finance - everyone has a different circumstance and so please consult your financial advisor regarding any financial questions.
My PURPOSE is to embark us on a journey towards financial independence through the power of dividend investing.
I have a Doctorate in Enterprise Information Systems coupled with over 15 years of experience in Information Technology. I have worked in several domains ranging from government contracting, NFL sports team merchandising, bank loan portfolio analysis, and working as an engineer with one of the largest tech companies on this planet.
Through these experiences I have always been passionate about helping others to navigate the complexities of finance. My personal journey with dividend investing has been incredibly rewarding, and I created this website to share my knowledge, insights, and strategies with you.

At The Dividend Orchard, you will find a wealth of information on all things related to dividend investing.
This platform was partially inspired by my doctorate dissertation and deep knowledge of Technology Acceptance Models and Theories of Reasoned Action. These models and underlying constucts help to explain our views and attitudes about adoption and use of technology. This platform takes a different twist and we will view dividend investing as a technological tool to generate generational and passive income.
We expect to provide in-depth articles on investment strategies and tips for selecting the best dividend stocks. Our GOAL is to be a comprehensive resource for building and managing your portfolio. We hope to provide you with practical advice and actionable insights that you can use to grow your portfolio.

The Dividend Orchard was born out of a desire to educate and empower lower and middle-income families as well as young adults who are working hard to secure their financial futures.
The goal is to spread the word that dividend investing offers a pathway to passive income and long-term wealth growth. My mission is to make this powerful investment strategy accessible to everyone.
This MISSION resonates with me because being an investor in the stock market is rewarding and completely anonymous. Success is independent of your ethnicity, color, sexual orientation or background.
Let’s face it - we all are getting older. The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago and fortunately the next best time is now. Time will continue to move forward regardless of our plans, aspirations, and desires.
